Update: Due to the recent Covid surge, this project has resumed mask making.
The Lincoln Covid Sewists project is no longer receiving requests for masks and other PPE, so they have paused their efforts. If the need arises in the future, they will regroup and restart their mask making.

The Nebraska Windmill Quilt Block was recently in the news! In 1977, LQG sponsored a contest to design a block to represent Nebraska. The winning block was designed by Bud Dunklau of Lincoln. The block is now in the possession of History Nebraska, formerly the Nebraska History Museum ....
These blocks are from the LQG's '77 Symposium Block Contest. They were donated to IQSCM in December of 2017. They were blocks that the contestants did not want returned to them.
