Create this wonderful wall hanging or long table runner using Mike’s method of sewing circles without applique or fusing. Mike has an alternate cutting plan that uses 5 fat quarters plus binding or just bring a couple of contrasting fat quarters to learn and practice the technique. A supply list will be available. Once you add this technique to your quilting tool belt, you will use it over and over again!

Mike's bio: Mike is a retired music and drama teacher who has been quilting since the late 1980’s. He is known for love of color and his excellent quilting on his domestic machine - although five years ago he did upgrade to a BerninQ-20. He teaches and presents trunk shows for guilds in Minnesota, Iowa and now Nebraska. Mike was a founder of the Blue Earth Valley Quilters guild. Mike has his own series of published quilt patterns which are sold via his Etsy shop. He has been the pattern writer for the Calico Hutch Block of the month in Hayward, Mn. since 2012. Mike and his wife Sue moved to Decorah, Iowa 3 years ago. He is happy to chat about what is involved in moving your fabric stash - a painful experience at best.
