Bio - Jane Foral started quilting 30 years ago because of her neighbor. She began by machine piecing all of her quilt tops and then
hand quilting them all. There were 12 ladies in their group, and each month one of them would load her quilt onto a frame. During that month the group would gather around the frame and quilted the quilt. It was a wonderful bonding experience and got her hooked on quilting.
She started taking any classes that were available through the Guild or at her local quilt shops. She loved learning new techniques and found that there was not a type of fabric she did not love!
Jane especially took to English Paper Piecing (EPP) because hand piecing allowed her to be busy all of the time! She traveled almost monthly to see grandchildren and EPP was very easy to take along and work at wherever she was. She has several activity bags that are always ready to go with her. She says she would not know what to do everyday without quilting and without her wonderful quilting friends.
