But how did Aaron get to this point in his life. Near five years ago his wife, Kelly retired and the question that was out there was what was Kelly going to do with her time of relaxation. She had a passion for quilting. Aaron had little knowledge but understood the cost and time of making such creations. So when they were offered the opportunity to buy the Quilters Cottage in Kearney, Nebraska – Aaron said, why not – it would be Kelly’s ultimate decision, but Aaron’s point was, Kelly could buy all the fabric she would ever desire and then also have the opportunity to share those fabrics and passion with others. Aaron’s thought it would be cheaper to buy the store, than pay for the hobby over the next 40 years. Thus, the adventure started, now Aaron needed to grow his knowledge and understanding, from notions, to fabrics. Styles to techniques, as co-owner – and here we are, a guy in a basically, primarily ladies world, being one of the top 35 instructors in the world teaching Advanced Laura Heine Collage technique. Aaron wants to meet you where you live. He is centrally located in the Continental United States but borders cannot hold him, he has a passport and will travel. Aaron says, “Let’s create something together”.
