Bio: After a career in apparel design and merchandising, Blair Stocker (pronounced “STOCK-er”) continues to use textiles of all kinds in her scrappy, modern quilts. Inspiration often comes from fabrics that hold meaning to the maker, and she is passionate about teaching others how to create beautiful quilts with those special fabrics. Her approach to color and color value in quiltmaking using easy-to-apply techniques. Inventor of the Ruby Ruler®️ , and the author of books on quilting and crafting. Born in North Carolina, she now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico after a 25 year stop in Seattle, Washington in between.
