Bio:  Jenifer Dick has been making quilts since 1993, when on a whim, she signed up for a beginning quilt making class at a Kansas City-area quilt shop. From that first stitch, she was hooked! Since that time, she has been making award-winning quilts and writing patterns.
Jenifer holds a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She worked as an editor for 7 years before retiring to raise three children. In 2008, she began editing quilting books for Kansas City Star Quilts and edited 28+ books for authors such as Bonnie Hunter, Barbara Brackman, and Betsy Chutchain. Jenifer has also written five books: Grapefruit Juice and Sugar (2005), The Circuit Rider’s Quilt (2008), Quilt Retro (2011), Stories in Stitches (2013), and The Modern Applique Workbook (2014).
