If you've ever wanted to transform a treasured textile into something wearable, this
workshop is for you! In this hands-on class, you'll create a one-of-a-kind hoodie using
thrifted, vintage, preloved, or secondhand textiles. You may also decide to make one (or two)
for grandchildren.
Bring your own quilts, blankets, tablecloths, or other textiles from home or a local thrift shop. Not sure what to use? Karen will have Kantha quilts available for purchase at the event for $15 each — a wonderful option for a first hoodie project. Karen will supply the patterns for you to use. At the end of the class you will receive a code for the digital pattern and a sew-along video to view at home! Be sure to select either a child or adult pattern on your registration form.
