Yes, it is fabric. No, it is not an image printed on the fabric. It is a hand-made combination of
fabrics & pigments, with stitching to create a piece of fiber art. A process I call Pigment
Patchwork. I love the challenge of merging pigments with fabrics to create either photo-
realistic or whimsical pieces. Added to that, subtle stitching helps add dimension that begs for
a closer look and tactile confirmation of what the eyes see.
