Janice Lippincott began sewing at the age of 8 and has hardly put down a needle since. Her focus was on garment sewing until March 19, 1990 when she was introduced to quilting.  Janice taught school, first in country schools, and then for 10 years in the Blair School System.  In 1980 she left teaching and opened a Bridal Boutique in Blair, NE.  That was a pressure packed business. And, after 10 years and 100’s of brides she decided to retire from that.  Her sister-in-law was concerned she would be bored (never!) and took her to a quilt class.   A whole new world opened up!  So for almost 20 years she has combined her love of sewing and teaching.  Bargello was one of the first quilts she ever made and has made dozens in various designs over the years.
