Award winning quilter and seamstress of 40 plus years, Diane, began sewing at the age of nine. Taught by and later frequently hired by Mom, Diane's sewing skills became sought after by individuals, business professionals and textile companies in her home state. College textile art classes as well as a professional photography career further enhanced her skills and brought her to a desire to share her legacy with the rising generation.
Diane has taught classes through college level community education programs as well as in quilt shops along the Wasatch Front in both Salt Lake and Utah counties where she currently resides. She now loves on children struggling through life altering diseases, violent crime and major disasters through an organization called Quilts for Kids International as the local Salt Lake Chapter Steward.
Her Goals for The Creative Herald:
- Unite a compassionate community in service to cover the afflicted with beauty and protect them with love;
- To encourage beloved people made in God's image to develop their God ordained creative expression of beauty;
- To provide website visitors with relevant and accurate information for their skill development.
